A new year of CPD

Did you know DTA CPD is available for 12 months from publication? Make sure you have completed November 2019 before it expires on 31 October 2020.  The Technologist Archive can be found here . 

Although we provide over 20 hours of CPD per year, this covers all fields of dental technology and you should only select and complete the CPD that is relevant to your field of practice. When you reflect on the activity, you need to link it to your personal development plan.

Reflection has become a big part of the GDC's Enhanced CPD requirements and this has been continuously reviewed and developed in the DTA CPD area. You should  immediately reflect with your own comments on what you have just learnt, your personal experience and how this applies to your field of practice. At the end of each CPD activity, you will have noticed a series of reflection questions. If you complete these questions at the time of doing your CPD, your reflection will automatically be uploaded not only to your individual CPD certificate, but also to your DTA logbook. 

Where you carry out learning and have quality certificates from other providers, the DTA CPD area allows you to upload these CPD certificates and your reflection to be recorded in your personal logbook.
